JEWELLERY WORKSHOPS
with Adele Kime
Adele trained as a textile designer in print and embroidery and later gained a degree in 3D Design in Jewellery. She has taught within adult education for 18 years.
One day and two day workshops run throughout the year at her peaceful canal side garden studio in Whaley Bridge. These run from 10.30- 4pm with a maximum of 4 learners to ensure individual attention. Fun and friendly with no previous experience needed. Workshops are on a particular technique/project, full of inspiration and guidance so you will leave with your own unique piece of jewellery you will be proud of!
All workshop costs include materials; refreshments and homemade cake (please bring your own lunch). Adele also offers one-one tuition and tailored workshops to suit groups on a specific date to suit you/theme. Please call or email to discuss.

FELTING WORKSHOPS
With Elizabeth Swift
Elizabeth runs workshops throughout the year in her home in New Mills, Derbyshire.
Workshops run from 10 am until 3.30 pm on Tuesdays and Sundays and combine both techniques of wet felting and needle felting to produce a substantial piece of two dimensional work fit for framing. A wealth of inspiration is provided on the day although participants are encouraged to bring some images that either inspire or mean something to them.
The cost of each session is £75 which includes hot drinks and homemade cakes (please bring your own lunch).
The aim of the workshop is to learn techniques and gain confidence in a relaxed, fun environment and to go home with a piece of work you are proud of.
Shorter workshops are also available in the afternoons on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 1.30pm until 4pm to make felted bookmarks, hearts, cards or needle felted pictures. The cost for these sessions is £35. Hot drinks and homemade cakes are included.
All workshops are suitable for beginners and those with some experience.

LOUISE JANNETTA various Courses & Workshops
with Louise Jannetta, Fine Artist
The workshops in Louise’s studio run from 10.00 am to 4.30pm. Many materials are provided, but please bring along your favourite brushes and some paints. Refreshments are served all day, but you will need to bring your own lunch.
The cost of a lesson is £60.00 for the day.
The lessons are restricted to only six customers per lesson so that Louise can give tuition focused on each person’s needs.

PAM SMART various Courses & Workshops
with Pam Smart, Fine Artist
Pam provides a diverse range of art workshops in her light and spacious studio based in Buxton. She has over twenty five years experience of teaching art and design and offers a range of courses including drawing, painting & mixed media and covers themes such as flowers, architecture, landscape, insects, natural forms and sketchbook making. Beginners are always welcome and she provides you with all the materials and lunch too! The workshops are very popular and book up fast – take a look at her website.

SANDRA ORME – Pastel and Charcoal Workshops 2024 – booking online now
Sandra’s studio was built using the prize money from winning first prize in Buxton Spa Prize in 2016. She now runs her popular workshops at her studio, just outside Buxton, that has stunning views down the valley. Sandra has a degree in Fine Art and has been running workshops for over 20 years. She has recently competed a book on Painting Pastel Skies that is now available for pre-order from Search Press.
Her workshops are suitable for all levels of experience and abilities. Subjects can include ‘Sunsets in Pastel’, ‘Breaking Waves’ and ‘Exploring Trees’. She also runs workshops for local art groups and those further afield. Clients include The Ashmolean Museum, Unison Colour Pastels, Buxton Opera House, Field Breaks, Derby Sketching Club.
