MANDALA DRAWING WORKSHOP

with Tamsin Cunningham

Tamsin runs regular workshops from her garden studio in Whaley Bridge, High peak.

Learn the skills and techniques to create your own beautiful mandala — a mindful, creative journey from the first mark to the finished piece.

Many people arrive thinking, “I can’t draw” or “I’m not artistic.” But this is where the magic begins. By letting go of the idea of a perfect outcome, you can relax into the process — small, repeated actions that gently draw you into a meditative flow state. Through this focus, your mandala naturally begins to emerge, each one unique in its design and energy.

We’ll begin with simple mark-making, shapes, and patterns, and you’ll be amazed at how your mandala unfolds. This is mindfulness in action — a form of meditation through creativity. Even those who think they “can’t meditate” often find themselves effortlessly absorbed in the process.

You’ll leave the workshop feeling calm, relaxed, and inspired, with a mandala you’ll be proud to display and the confidence to continue your creative practice at home. Many past participants now use mandala drawing as a gentle tool to support their mental wellbeing.

This truly is the ultimate doodle — offering hours of calming mindfulness, endless creativity, and infinite patterns waiting to be discovered.

1.00pm – 5.00pm   £60.00

Mandala dotting workshop.

Learn all the techniques you need to create your own stunning dotting mandala using specialist tools and vibrant acrylic paints.

No experience is needed — just a willingness to explore. You’ll be guided step by step, and once you begin, you’ll find yourself absorbed in the rhythm of repeated dots and patterns. Calm and focus naturally take over, and you’ll be surprised and delighted by what you create — a piece you’ll be proud to display at home.

This workshop can be taken as a progression from the Drawing Mandala Workshop or enjoyed as a stand-alone session.

This is a creative meditation in motion — simple, soothing, and deeply satisfying. Each mandala is unique, reflecting your individual energy, colour choices, and flow.

As you work, you’ll be amazed at how your mandala evolves, drawing you in and quieting your thoughts. You’ll leave with the skills, confidence, and inspiration to continue your practice at home — a mindful art form that brings peace, balance, and joy.

There are infinite patterns to explore, offering hours of creative pleasure, mindfulness, and discovery.
