David fell in love with Buxton after spending some time on holiday in the area. He moved to Buxton in 1990 with his wife just in time for their first son to be born.
David paints professionally and for a time had a gallery and framing shop in the town but then decided to concentrate on commission work. He teaches painting and drawing to Lifelong Learning students in the High Peak and he also teaches private art groups in many different media.
As an artist David particularly enjoys painting in watercolour and specialises in landscapes and wildlife studies. Commission are welcome.
