Suzanne Horwell lives and works on her smallholding in the Peak District where she has a small flock of Jacob and Swaledale sheep.
Their fleece is sheared each year and made into distinctive and beautiful yarn. Some of the fleece is processed at a local mill and an increasing amount of the wool is spun by hand on the farm.
The wool is kept its natural colour, achieving different shades through mixing the fibres. Suzanne then uses the wool to create hand woven scarves; each one is unique, in both size and colour, and is made at the farm with loving care. Suzanne trades under the name ‘Royal Edge’
