Susan began painting after taking very early retirement from a career in management accountancy, and having moved to a Derbyshire village, found inspiration in the beautiful countryside right on her doorstep. Early works were in acrylics; her preferred medium now is acrylic gouache.
Susan has exhibited over recent years at the Derbyshire County Council Open Art Competition and has won an Award and a Commendation. She has also exhibited at the Buxton Spa Prize and in several galleries and art trails.
She has been developing her style using digital art and produces her own Giclée prints.
