Sally Bristow began designing jewellery in America, when she couldn’t find a necklace to match an idea in her head. She developed her ideas further through her experimental use of fused glass.
Glass fusing is the process of combining various textures and colours of glass and heating them to melting point. The nature of the process means that each piece is unique.
She takes her inspiration from her beautiful surroundings, her three young daughters and the glass itself, working with different textures and materials to complement and enhance its colours and characteristics.
