Welcome to The Gallery in the Gardens

The Gallery is the Home of the High Peak Artists group. Situated at the heart of the award winning Pavilion Gardens in Buxton, Derbyshire, it contains the work of 43 local artists and craftspeople from the High Peak.
Work on display includes paintings, ceramics, jewellery, photography, textiles, turned wood, glass, embroidery, calligraphy, linocuts and etchings and a large selection of prints.
We’ve got two great events in July – our special Buxton Festival Fringe exhibition ‘Nature’s Patterns’ opens in the Art Café on 4th July. A stunning exhibition from 30 members of the group featuring paintings, printmaking, textiles, ceramics, wood, glass & jewellery. Open every day until 2nd Sept.
Our second event ‘Artists at Work’ takes place in the historic Pump Room building on the Crescent, Buxton. Fourteen artists & makers from the group will be demonstrating their work on Monday 9th & Tuesday 10th July from 10am-2pm each day, including painting, printmaking, lino cutting, ceramics, jewellery making, wet felting and more. Entry is free!
The Gallery in the Gardens featuring the work of 45 local artists is also open as normal.
