
Welcome to Gallery in the Gardens
Home of the High Peak Artists’ & Craft Workers’ Association. Situated at the
heart of the award winning Pavilion Gardens in Buxton, Derbyshire, it
contains the work of 36 local artists and craftspeople from the High Peak.
Work on display includes paintings, ceramics, jewellery, photography, textiles, turned wood, embroidery, calligraphy, lino cuts and etchings and a large selection of prints.
Open every day (except Christmas Day) 9.30am – 5.00pm.

We welcome visitors to the ‘Gilbert and Sullivan Festival ’ this month. There is lots of new work to see in the gallery including textile pictures from Jayne Townsend, new handbags from ‘ Hannah Dodd, new ceramic work from Caroline Chouler Tissier, felted vessels from ‘Claire de Ruiter ’ and marine inspired pots from ‘Andy Phillips. ’
Our special exhibition ‘Visuals from Verse’ featuring art and craft inspired by the written word, continues until 5th September, upstairs in the Art Café.
