Welcome to Gallery in the Gardens

Picture of the gallery in the gardens Home of the High Peak Artists’ & Craft Workers’ Association. Situated at the heart of the award winning Pavilion Gardens in Buxton, Derbyshire, it contains the work of 39 local artists and craftspeople from the High Peak.

 

Work on display includes paintings, ceramics, jewellery, photography, textiles, turned wood, embroidery, calligraphy, lino cuts and etchings and a large selection of prints.

 

Open every day (except Christmas Day) 9.30am – 5.00pm.

FEBRUARY 2012

 

 

NEW IN THE GALLERY – Stunning framed silver prints of the Lake District by Dave Butcher and new original paintings by Rob Wilson including scenes from Canada, France & Manchester.  Plus designer knitted hats by Christine Woodrow - perfect for the chilly February weather.

Don’t forget Valentine’s Day – we have textile hearts and canvases by Jayne Townsend, ceramic hearts by Caroline Chouler, little felt hearts by Hannah Dodd and a huge range of jewellery to suit all pockets.

SALE TIME in the Gallery – Dave Butcher, Richard Prime and Louise Jannetta all have items at reduced prices for a limited period.  

Current Art Café Exhibition – ‘Winter in the Peaks’ featuring work by a variety of group members including Rob Wilson, Kathy MacMillan, David Woodrow & Pauline Townsend.  Runs until 5th March.
