Wendy is a creative colour enthusiast. She explores the relationship between the shared, external physical landscape surrounding us all and the individual, internal, human landscape within us all. This one is often hidden from view. Wendy’s drawings, paintings and mixed media pieces are intentionally vibrant and unconventional. Her atmospheric textural images are built with layers and combine a range of fine art and graphic techniques. Wendy’s aim is to use expressive mark-making of all kinds to communicate ideas that may otherwise remain silent. Her inspiration comes from living and working in The Derbyshire Peak District.
