Richard loves the countryside and wildlife, and admits he has a special affinity with Scotland. His field trips to Scotland, Cornwall and his home county of Derbyshire have helped him observe the British wildlife he loves to paint. Dogs and horses are also favourite subjects and Richard enjoys painting pet commissions. A selection of his work is available as limited edition prints and cards and his originals can be seen in selected galleries in Derbyshire, Cheshire and Cumbria.
