Hannah designs unique, quirky, functional handmade bags. Designed to be modern but not closely linked to fashion trends, she endeavours to create an enduring, desirable piece using different colour combinations and designs. She is inspired by nature, flora, form and vibrant colours and textures. She is interested not only in the surface pattern but exploring the three dimensional and structural potential of the fabric.
Each bag is lovingly handmade and takes around two days to complete. Her latest range of designs uses a combination of different textiles including new and recycled fabrics, sewn together, layered, cut, re-sewn, edged with felted yarns. Unique special gifts, weddings, individual inquiries welcome.
