Nearly all of Andy’s work is made on the wheel, including his smoke fired ceramics which increasingly fascinate him. His work is often inspired by nature in terms of form and decoration. Each smoke fired pot is unique; they are fired in metal containers using as fuel – garden prunings, newspapers, sawdust etc. Andy also designs and makes a range of decorative and functional stoneware pottery.
